Neural Nexus

In this world, individual consciousness does not exist. All thoughts are connected to a vast neural network, a network of interconnected thoughts, memories, and emotions. No language, no secrets, just pure connection. The land itself is living, shaped by the collective consciousness. Buildings, cities, and even the weather are all flowing projections of networked ideas.

The two interwoven people in the middle are the most powerful individuals in the world. They are called dream weaders, and they can shape reality through sheer will. But if too many thoughts clash, the whole region is caught in a storm of ideas, logic is distorted, and time is broken.

However, not everyone accepts Nexus, which is known as “disconnecters”, those who have cut their own neural connections believing that true freedom can only exist outside the network. They are seen as a threat to the world. Because all it takes is an independent mind different from the collective to break down the whole system. At the bottom of this world there is a strange creature called an echo beast. They are born of discarded memories and repressed emotions. It haunts the edges of the Nexus, feeding on thoughts of loss. Some say they are the next stage of evolution. Others saw it as just a glash in the system, and it was also a warning that the Nexus itself was in decline. Here’s the problem.

Is a world without individual personalities a true utopia, or the ultimate prison? If thoughts are the basis of reality - what happens when Nexus starts dreaming of something new? You’re never alone here -- but are you really free?
